Fire Facilities offers two portable burn room options for departments that need flexible access to live-fire training: The Mobile Trainee and The Ready-Set-Go.
Both systems are designed to support realistic firefighter training at multiple locations and feature the patented Westec® insulation system. These portable solutions are especially useful for departments that do not have access to a permanent training tower or for neighboring departments that want to share a training resource.
The Mobile Trainee is designed for transport between locations, while Ready-Set-Go provides a preassembled training structure that can be placed without a permanent foundation.

FIREFIGHTER TRAINING
One training resource. More departments able to train.
Portable burn room systems give departments access to live-fire training even when a permanent facility is not practical. They can support shared use between neighboring departments, provide training at multiple locations, and expand access for smaller agencies that may not otherwise have a dedicated burn structure.
Both portable options feature the patented Westec® insulation system for demanding live-fire environments.
THE MOBILE TRAINEE
Take the training structure where it’s needed most.
The Mobile Trainee is a portable fire training structure featuring a burn room, heavy-duty trailer chassis, and leveling feet. It allows fire service instructors to conduct live-fire evolutions at multiple locations, making it especially useful for departments that want to share a training resource.
For additional square footage, the Mobile Trainee can be increased in length by six feet. With the increased length, the unit includes an upgrade to three 10,000-lb. axles and a 26,000-lb. GVWR.
THE READY-SET-GO
Preassembled and ready for placement.
The Ready-Set-Go is a preassembled portable fire training structure that does not require a slab or permanent foundation. It is factory assembled for delivery on a flatbed trailer and includes a built-in leveling system for placement on uneven surfaces.
The unit features a 24-foot-long burn room and nearly 8 feet of storage space. Multiple Ready-Set-Go units can also be joined together to create different training configurations.

01 — Custom Layouts
Mobile burn-room trailers can be engineered with specialized floor plans, viewing windows, wall treatments and other project-specific features.
02 — Class A Fire Training
Standard burn rooms are equipped for Class A fire evolutions using combustible training materials.
03 — Optional Propane Systems
Units can be customized to accept third-party Class B propane props and control equipment. Options may also include fuel storage and an onboard generator for off-grid training.
